1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Just Scan It ("the Service"), operated by Hofstack, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Account Terms

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide a valid email address and accurate information to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service. You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Send spam, phishing attempts, or unsolicited communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

4. QR Code Content Policies

You are solely responsible for the content your QR codes link to. QR codes must not direct users to content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or fraudulent
• Contains malware or phishing pages
• Infringes on the intellectual property of third parties
• Promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination
• Contains adult content without proper safeguards

We reserve the right to disable any QR code that violates these policies without prior notice.

5. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Downgrading your plan may result in the loss of features or capacity. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.

6. API Usage

If the Service provides API access, you agree to use the API in accordance with any rate limits and documentation provided. Abuse of the API, including excessive requests or automated scraping, may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your API access.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Hofstack and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including your QR codes and associated data.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Your QR codes will stop redirecting after account termination.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hofstack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from QR codes that fail to scan or redirect properly.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Netherlands.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
